I don't have much else to compare it to, but I'm really happy with the cooktop I replaced it with. It's easy to clean and has a good range of burner sizes. It's also easy to use. Overall I'm happy with my purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by NutmegOzzie from Fantastic value and quality I ordered this whilst in quarantine in a hotel in Sydney having been living in the UK for a year. I wanted to have a functional stove top as our old Smeg was not fully functioning and with my whole family at home with COVID-19, we'd be cooking a lot. The team at Elgas were great. Their warehouse in Melbourne was on skeleton staff due to COVID-19 and they let me know the whole way, it's progress to Sydney and then to the Central Coast. I was able to get quotes for a gas fitter whilst this was happening and within a day of the appliance arriving, it was installed. I can't tell you how much we all love the new stove top. So much cheaper than the Smeg and yet nicer to look at, easier to clean and lovely to cook on. Best thing to happen ie. Smeg to reach the end of its useful life and us to discover the Chef via Elgas whilst needing to do this on a small budget. It looks amazing with our lovely pots. Very, very happy.
